Welcome to Trotting Kritterz, we take pride in our babies, we strive for health and temperament. Our babies are handled daily they receive fresh water, vegetables and hay, they are very healthy and friendly and The Gerbils make a great pet for children. Since they do not require much, it is a great way to teach your child the responsibility of having a pet, however I do prefer that they go to a home with children over the age of 8. The Bunnies are completely different than the gerbils and I do not recommend them for children since children love to pick up their pets and pet them bunnies do not like to be handled very much, their backs can easily break if handled the wrong way so I do not let them go to a home that has children of 13 and under. I will screen every potential home. At the present time we only breed Gerbils and Bunnies currently I have no bunnies up for adoption, however I do have gerbils up for adoption I do not let them go until they are at least 8 weeks old .that way they can learn to socialize with their litter mates as well as well as more human interaction. Feel free to check out our nursery and meet the parents, currently I only have two breeding pairs of gerbils. I do not breed Brothers and Sisters.
